Muscat Wines

Muscat, pronounced [MUHS-kat] is a wine commonly known as, Muscatel or Muscatel. This family of grapes is of the species Vitis vinifere and is known to be of the oldest variety of grapes with a various assortment of over 200 varieties.
The sweet, fruity and often times floral aroma is accompanied with a rich and musky taste. From the dry and light, to the more sweeter and heavy versions, range in color is from white almost to near black.
This wine is an exceptionally sweet delicacy from late harvest, grown in temperate climates from vineyards all around the world. From France, Germany, Portugal and Spain to the successfully grown vineyards of east central San Joaquin Valley of California.
